Hey Young World,

We regularly do pro bono work at 1520 for causes, people or organizations we believe in. We don't usually talk about the individual cases, because we mostly don't feel the need to do so ("real Gs move in silence like lasagna"), but this time we're making an exception.

Yesterday morning, we wrote a Dutch press release for and provided press e-mail addresses to a group of non-Dutch speaking Iranians from Apeldoorn that are organizing a memorial service for Mahsa Amini in Apeldoorn and were unsuccessfully trying to get some attention from the local press. After sending out the Dutch press release to the provided addresses, a reporter from De Stentor, the largest local newspaper, did respond to them, saying he will both attend and write about the memorial.

We're not telling you this to pat ourselves on the back, but to illustrate that you - person or business - too have skills and resources that may allow you to help a worthy cause, even if you are not in a position to help out financially, are uncomfortable with protesting etc. Something that takes you 30 minutes might make a world of difference for someone else. Reach out to people.

The memorial service will take place today, 18:00 - 19:00, at the Amaliapark in Apeldoorn.

One Love,

Marius | 1520

P.S. This is a reminder that we offer pro bono consulting to start-ups, aspiring entrepreneurs, small businesses, artists, causes and charities who currently cannot afford such services. If you need help, don't hesitate to reach out to us. Each one teach one.
